About Me!
I am deeply passionate about photography, travel and snacks! Unbeetable Photography is the result of my devotion to all three.
I grew up in both Tuolumne county and the Central Valley of California. Though I have always been interested in the arts, photography did not find me right away. In my younger days I focused mainly on painting and illustration. I moved to Northern California to study graphic design and illustration at Humboldt State University (Now Cal Poly Humboldt) After graduating I started working in the marketing department of The North Coast Co-op. When my boss asked if I was willing to learn food photography for our marketing material, I responded with an enthusiastic “Sure.” It wasn’t long before I fell in love with photography and food photography in particular.
Since then I have taken my Nikon all over the world! Taking photos for restaurants in Mexico, Guatemala, Vietnam and Chicago!
